Most developers do not need support for Zap, Kimi Code, Grok Build CLI, Orca, herdr, Superset, and the rest. They need one or two stable agent flows, not a long tail of integrations. From that angle, the changelog can look like an arms race of compatibility work that only the most tool-heavy teams will appreciate.

There is also a simpler argument against this strategy: product value should come from core outcomes, not from making every terminal and IDE jump perfectly. If users still have to manage approvals, track usage limits, and sort through session cards, then the experience may be cleaner, but it is not fundamentally transformed. A polished orchestration layer can still be a layer.

That critique misses the point. In agent-heavy workflows, the orchestration layer is the product. The pain is not model output in isolation, it is the gap between output, context, approval, and action. Vibe Island is reducing that gap with exact jumps, better subagent visibility, persistent drafts, and clearer reminders. Those are not side quests. They are the workflow itself.

Do not start with another generic chat surface. Start with the moments where users lose time, lose state, or lose confidence, and make those moments boringly reliable. That is how a tool becomes a habit.
