Claude Partner Network Learning Path launches
Anthropic added a new Claude Partner Network learning path with courses on Skills, Claude API, MCP, and Claude Code.

Anthropic launched a Claude Partner Network learning path with courses on Skills, Claude API, MCP, and Claude Code.
Anthropic has published the Claude Partner Network Learning Path on its Academy site, framing it as the first step toward partnership and certification. The path groups four starter courses for developers who want to build with Claude across workflows, APIs, and external integrations.

The new path bundles four courses: Introduction to agent skills, Building with the Claude API, Introduction to Model Context Protocol, and Claude Code in Action. Anthropic says the path is meant to give partners a foundation before certification.

Each course targets a different part of the stack. The Skills module teaches reusable markdown instructions in Claude Code; the API course covers working with Anthropic models; the MCP lesson shows how to build servers and clients in Python; and Claude Code in Action focuses on adding Claude Code to a development workflow.
- Skills: create, configure, share, and troubleshoot reusable instructions
- API: work with Anthropic models through the Claude API
- MCP: build servers and clients in Python using tools, resources, and prompts
- Claude Code: integrate the assistant into daily development work
Why it matters
For developers, this is less a product launch than a training funnel. Anthropic is using a hosted course path to standardize how partners learn its tooling, which can speed up onboarding and reduce support friction for teams building on Claude.

The Skilljar setup also separates learning access from product access. Users can take the course with only a Skilljar account, while Claude AI service access still requires a separate Anthropic account, keeping training, analytics, and product usage distinct.
The page also spells out data handling for the learning platform, including progress tracking, quiz scores, and certificate eligibility. It says Skilljar is SOC 2 compliant and that users can request deletion by emailing [email protected].
The key question is whether this path becomes the default on-ramp for Claude partners, or just another course catalog entry.
