Meituan’s new Skill turns a spoken request into a real delivery order.

Meituan says a user can now ask an AI assistant to fetch a parcel or send something across town, and the system will convert that request into a live Meituan delivery order. The company frames it as a six-step flow compressed into one sentence, with the rider handling pickup and drop-off after the user confirms the details.

The timing matters because this is a concrete example of agent-style software moving from chat into transactions. Instead of stopping at advice or text generation, the assistant is allowed to book a service, check status, and hand the final payment step back to the user inside the
